With an endeavour to train professionals in non-traditional sectors, institutes are providing job-ready trainings across the country in sectors like beauty and wellness which consists of thousands of micro and small enterprises (MSEs).
With this view, Kohinoor Technical Institute (KTI) and JCKRC Spa and Wellness Education (JSWE) have got into collaboration in imparting Government Approved and Industry Ready vocational training in beauty and wellness sector across the country. “Indian beauty and wellness domain is facing major challenge in terms of inadequate availability of training infrastructure, standardized training curriculum (especially at the entry level), the absence of quality trainers in sufficient numbers, easier financial access to outcome-linked skills training initiatives, as also lack of awareness about the benefits of vocational training,” KTI said in a release. Also, there is a huge demand-supply gap for a skilled manpower in the wellness and beauty sector. This gap is deep and grim and that prompted KTI and JSWE to team up and take up a genuine and daunting task of closing this gap through this collaboration.”
