Position: Futures Programme Manager cum Trainer
Location: Pune, Maharashtra
Minimum Eligibility Requirements:
Educational Qualification & Experience: Post graduate in social sciences/ management with 5years of experience in social development sector. At least 3 years should be in the area of adolescent girls, their livelihoods and their futures.
Skills required:
- Excellent leadership skills and ability to negotiate with various stakeholders including children, field teams, partner NGOs, corporates, Government etc.
- Abilities to conceptualise and coordinate various researches for the work.
- Language proficiency in English and Marathi is essential.
Job Overview: Futures Programme Manager cum Trainer is responsible for leading and facilitating the Futures programme at state level with youth in achieving their dreams and aspirations. This position is based in Pune and reports to State Programme Manager.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Strategize & lead the implementation of Futures programme intervention in the state as per the organisational Futures programme
- Capacity building of the state & home teams on Futures
- Create forum and support systems for the older children/ youth to share their dreams and aspirations thus developing child specific future plans
- Be as a mentor for the older children of Rainbow Homes
- Organize Training programmes for developing soft skills, life skills and vocational skills for the young adolescent children using institutional and external expertise
- Mapping of Long-term & Short-term Job Opportunities for Youth
- Establishing linkages with external institutions to link Youth to pursue higher education & Part time jobs
- Ensure Youth are equipped skills required to take-up part-time jobs
- Mobilizing resources and necessarily external linkages with the program at state level
- Networking with the professionals and companies/Institutions for necessary skill development and placement services
- Developing projects and necessary donor compliance related to the program
- Documentation of the overall state level futures programme
- Timely delivery and effective monitoring of the program at various levels
- Close coordination with home teams and partners for smooth functioning
- Following ethical and value frame work of the organization while working with diverse stakeholders
Remuneration: Commensurate with experience and skills up to Rs. 35,000 to 40,000 per month.
