The Rashtriya Rifles Board ( RRB ) conducts 25 day long Vocational Training course in ‘electricity and welding’in conjunction with civil administration

Jhangar : The Rashtriya Rifles in an endeavor to boost self employment prospects for the unemployment youth residing in remote areas conducted a vocational training course in ‘Electricity and Welding’ in conjunction with the civil administration at Govt Middle School, Jhangar.

A total of 20 youth from remote villages of Bhowani and Jhangar attended the 25 days long cadre conducted at Jhangar with an aim of enabling youth to establish small scale business ventures. Special emphasis was given to skill enhancement in keeping with the Army’s commitment towards employment generation in remote villages of border areas.

The curriculum of the cadre included introduction to electrical and welding tools, wall wiring, electrical fittings, calculation and distribution of electrical load capacity etc.

The local populace of Jhangar and Bhowani thanked the Army and said such goodwill initiative as it would open up self owned ventures for many in these remote region.
