Minister of State for Skill Development Shri Rajiv Pratap Rudy inaugurates Institute of Gems and Jewellery

Malappuram : Rajiv Pratap Rudy, Central Minister of State for Skill Development and Entrepreneurship inaugurated the Institute of Gems and Jewellery (IGJ) at the Inkel Greens Educity. In his inaugural speech, Rudy noted that there is a scarcity of skilled professionals in the country. Professionals trained at institutes such as IGJ should lead global Gems and Jewellery Industry in future, he said. Rudy declared IGJ as a Center of Excellence.

igjP.V. Abdul Vahab M.P. presided over the function. The Gem Studio was inaugurated by P. Sreeramakrishnan, speaker of Kerala Legislative Assembly. IGJ promoted by Safa Jewellers is aimed to fulfill a surge in demand for skilled workers in the jewelry making and allied fields, all around the world.
